Using engineering and design projects that address real world challenges, STEM GRO provides engaging educational programs, focusing on students historically underserved and underrepresented in S.T.E.M. fields and employment.

A certified 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, STEM GRO delivers fun, hands-on, authentic S.T.E.M. learning experiences that guide students to their own unique discoveries, build critical thinking and problem solving skills and nurture life and career aptitudes, including innovation, productivity, accountability, self-confidence, and team-work.

After School Programs

Using engineering and design projects that address real world challenges, STEM GRO provides interactive, hands-on STEM-based educational experiences, focusing on students historically underserved and underrepresented in S.T.E.M. fields and employment. STEM GRO has the ability to provide mobile programs at your organization or school and is also able to host programs at our partner facility in Lawrence, Kansas. Our programs are designed and led by experienced educators and staffed by university-level engineering and science students and young professionals.

Summer Programs

Using engineering and design projects that address real world challenges, STEM GRO offers month-long, interactive, hands-on STEM-based project experiences for youth in grades 4-5 and 6-8. STEM GRO has the ability to provide programs at your organization or school and is also able to host programs at our partner facility in Lawrence, Kansas. To meet recent pandemic restrictions over the past few years, we provided STEM GRO AT HOME kits and resources for our program participants. But this year we are back in person! Our programs are designed and led by experienced educators and staffed by university-level engineering and science students and young professionals.
